About Chris Crew:
At the age of 16, Chris entered into the electrical trade as an Apprentice Electrician. After only 8 months he was promoted to Lead Tech, and from there he furthered his career by starting his own company in new construction and residential service. Learning the ups and downs, he took advantage of an opportunity with a local residential electrical company in Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. Chris very rapidly honed in on skills such as communication, management and selling. Within just one year, Chris was promoted to a leadership role as a Supervisor, responsible for 18 trucks and producing over of $4 million in revenue. Over the next 3 years, Chris reached a career milestone among his peers when he received the “Million Dollar Award” for producing over $1.4 million in revenue.
In the summer of 2008, Chris found a passion for helping others and was recruited to Sarasota, Florida as a Business Coach for a large electrical franchise company where he helped franchisees experience high levels of success like he created in Atlanta. As he coached businesses, he found himself assisting business owners with training front line employees, and his talent was quickly recognized by the training department which asked Chris to help fulfill their needs. Chris took his experience from the field and helped build classroom and online training for the franchisor, which is still in use today. Using his charismatic style of delivery and presenting powerful information in a way that helps people feel confident in themselves and the process, he has trained thousands of front-line employees. From 2010 to 2012, Chris was coaching businesses in all 3 trades under the franchisor (plumbing, electrical, and HVAC) from various sizes starting with owners in a truck, up to multiple location, multiple trade companies. His goal was to help businesses recognize operational deficiencies and come up with practical solutions for growth and increased profitability. During this time, Chris was promoted to Operations Coach for the franchisor’s HVAC brand. As a result of the sales growth under his direction, Chris was then promoted in 2012 to Brand Manager of the electrical franchise brand where he managed a team of coaches supporting 90+ franchise locations across the country. The electrical brand became the fastest growing brand in same store sales growth under his leadership.
In 2013, Chris became an owner and operator in the electrical industry, implementing the same strategies he used to help other businesses become operationally efficient, driving sales and profitability. Chris and his partner grew their business from 10 trucks with 1 location to over 60 trucks with 5 locations, producing $18 million in revenue within just 4 years. In early 2018, Chris sold his shares of the company and decided to return to his passion for helping others.
Over the course of Chris’s career, several people mentioned that he should meet Kenny Chapman because of their similar ambitions and delivery styles. As fate would have it, a mutual friend introduced Chris and Kenny, and they had immediate synergy. In early 2018, Chris officially joined the Blue Collar Success Group as a Success Coach and is now the Director of Coaching & Development. Chris pours his passion into helping business owners and managers with every aspect of their operation. He shares his vast knowledge and experience in every area of the business: being priced right, planning, budgeting, marketing, recruiting, training, and becoming Revenue Generators. Chris leads the Monthly Profit Generator online training program for managers, office champions, technicians, and replacement salespeople, which is available to all in-home service businesses and trades. Chris supports and coaches on weekly Titanium Mastermind calls, conducts one-on-one coaching for a deeper dive with select Essential and Titanium members, develops and conducts manufacturer training and select live Blue Collar Academies, and enjoys getting to do what he’s passionate about every day.
